We are looking for a skilled Bending Machine Operator to operate press brake / sheet metal bending machines. The candidate will be responsible for accurate bending of metal sheets as per drawings, maintaining quality, and ensuring efficient production.
Operate press brake / bending machine for sheet metal work
Set up machine parameters (angle, pressure, tooling) as per job requirement
Read and understand engineering drawings and bend specifications
Perform accurate bending and ensure dimensional precision
Select appropriate tools and dies for different jobs
Inspect finished parts using measuring tools (Vernier, angle gauge, etc.)
Maintain production targets and minimize material wastage
Perform routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance
Follow safety guidelines and shop floor discipline
Hands-on experience with bending / press brake machines
Ability to read technical drawings and bend layouts
Knowledge of sheet metal properties and bending techniques
Familiarity with measuring instruments
Understanding of tooling (punches, dies)
Basic machine setting and troubleshooting skills
ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Sheet Metal / Production
Basic knowledge of fabrication and manufacturing processes
1–3 years experience as Bending Machine Operator
Experience in fabrication / sheet metal industry preferred
Freshers with ITI can also apply
₹12,000 – ₹25,000 per month (based on experience)
